I’ve been quiet… Not because I disappeared, but because I was drowning and didn’t even know it. That was me for the past two years. I had the degree everyone said I needed. The corporate opportunity that looked perfect on paper. The “safe” path that made my parents proud. But that environment broke me in ways I never saw coming. For the first time in my life, I was dealing with depression and anxiety - not because of who I am, but because of where I was. I was caught between what I actually wanted and what the patriarchy had convinced me I should want. Some nights I’d lie awake wondering: When did I stop listening to my own voice? The truth is, I’ve been running my business since I was 23. But somewhere along the way, I let other people’s definitions of success become louder than my own intuition. So I did something that terrified everyone around me - I walked away. From the corporate job. From the “should dos.” From trying to fit into a system that was never built for women like us. I chose myself. I chose my vision. I chose to trust that the path I’ve been building since 2016 was always the right one. SECRET’S OUT 🤭🇵🇷 So, my baby journey is on hold for now, and I have to admit, it’s been tough. I was so excited about becoming a mom, and it makes me sad even to say it out loud. But I’m trying to remind myself that this doesn’t mean I won’t be a mom; it just means not right now. In the meantime, I’m taking this adventure and really soaking it all in. After years of nonstop work and schooling, hitting the reset button before my little ones enter the world is nice. And let me tell you, Puerto Rico will be an amazing place to do it! Even though I haven’t been able to fully enjoy all the beauty Puerto Rico has to offer due to all the logistics involved in relocating, I’m finally settling in and looking forward to exploring everything this island has to offer. The culture, the people - everything has exceeded my expectations. And let’s be honest - leaving Miami was just what I needed. Don’t get me wrong, I love my family and friends back home, but the negativity, lack of manners, and superficiality everywhere you go became just too much to handle. Who knows where this adventure will take me next...Spain? 🤷🏼‍♀️ All I know is that I’m beyond excited for this next chapter in my life, and I’m grateful for every moment of it. To my new life 🫶🏼

Day 1 after having covid 🤯 I honestly couldn’t believe how weak I was. 🥺 I could not keep up with any of the workouts, and it honestly frustrated me because I was so excited to go back. I tried my best, but even after finishing my training, I had shortness of breath for about an hour and a half. Please take this seriously !
