The bridge city edit is currently the only platform dedicated entirely to YXE’s creative ecosystem. 500+ engaged subscribers within a matter of weeks is living proof of that. This is not speculative. Issue No. 02 of The Bridge City Edit dropped this morning at 8am, and this one belongs to Theo Maczek 🎸✨ A Cajun finger-picking guitarist with a foot tambourine keeping time, the kind of musician who can turn a room quiet in seconds. I first met Theo after he invited me out to one of Saskatoon’s Thursday open mic nights, and let’s just say… the talent in this city deserves a spotlight. This issue dives into Theo’s story and the local live music circuit happening right downtown. Three open mic nights, all within a block of each other, every Thursday. A little musical triangle where you can wander from stage to stage discovering artists who should absolutely be heard.
