I would shift my language to be, they're busy, things are unfolding perfectly, this is aligning in my favour.

And it sounds small, but it's really not, because your brain is always predicting outcomes.

So if you constantly predict rejection, failure, embarrassment, you show up anxious to that situation.

Singing happy birthday with my beautiful mum 🤍somehow, even as so much else has faded, music still finds mum. My mum might struggle with a lot but she can sing Happy Birthday to me, every word, every note. Alzheimer’s takes a lot, but it doesn’t take the parts of the brain where music lives. Those moments remind me that love isn’t stored in facts or memories it's carried in feelings and when she sings, she’s still her, and she still knows us all in the ways that matter most 🤍
